Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is an extremely effective yet non-invasive touch therapy that tunes into a client’s nervous system and body rhythms. The aim is to facilitate life force energy to flow to areas of the body that need regulating and repair. Therapists achieve this by touching specific areas of the spine, head, and body with highly trained, listening fingers and embodying stillness.

Note* – Sometimes clients may have an awareness of what needs regulating and/or repair for them, e.g., injury, trauma, illness, pain. However, it is not necessary to know or find out specifically. What matters is simply allowing space for the body to be heard so that it may find its preferred state of peace and health again.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy taps into and reactivates the body’s innate healing intelligence through trained touch, and by creating an emotionally and energetically safe space for the body to heal itself. This touch and space allow the body and nervous system to gently reorganise and reset back to their optimal, coherent rhythms.

This relaxing state of flow and harmony (coherence) is where all the systems in the body start to communicate and work together so well that they are functioning as a united whole. This is where the healing component of this therapy happens and the body experiences elevated health.

Note* – imagine a lot of obnoxious sounds happening at the same time, as opposed to a beautiful symphony orchestra playing in harmony – this is an example of incoherence vs coherence. The body functions best when all its systems and rhythms are in sync.

Lymphatic Mojo is the facilitation of movement of lymphatic fluid through the lymphatic system to encourage the removal of waste build-up from the body.

A trained Lymphatic Mojo therapist finds areas of the lymphatic system that may be blocked or not flowing at full capacity (for various reasons) and therefore may be creating pain, inflammation, or illness and disease (waste build-up).

The aim is to remove blocks and stagnation by moving the fluid through the lymph nodes, allowing the cleansing flow to continue so the body can carry on healing itself.

A healthy, flowing lymphatic system is vital for good health as it is responsible for removing our cellular waste. This waste removal assists with optimal cell functioning by allowing the body to repair and restore itself without any build-up in the way. (Imagine never taking out your rubbish but still trying to keep your house tidy and spotless – this is what happens with cellular waste in our bodies; the more unchecked waste build-up there is, the harder it is to keep everything else in order).

Only two things keep our lymphatic fluid healthy and flowing – diaphragmatic breathing and movement. Both things help pass the fluid through our lymph nodes to be filtered so it can continue flowing around the body removing more cellular waste.

The lymphatic system speaks of the clear watery fluid that surrounds all of our cells. This fluid is found everywhere in the body except the hair, nails, and cartilage.

Our lymph nodes are also part of the lymphatic system. These nodes act as filters for the lymphatic fluid and there are 700 of them located throughout the body.

The lymphatic system is deeply connected to the immune system and is involved with fighting off infections.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Lymphatic Mojo Therapy are both useful for anyone (adults and children of all ages) who want to feel an increased sense of wellness and vitality.

Most people explain it as a feeling of deep relaxation or meditation. Sometimes this relaxed and meditative state can induce bodily sensations, dream-like memories, emotions, and/or visuals that are usually pleasant.

However, sometimes this deep healing state allows the body to ‘unlock’ stuck memories, energies or experiences that can be unconscious. This can trigger outward expressions which disperse when released.

These expressions can be felt as the need to cry, make involuntary noises or movements, or even scream. All these things are absolutely normal and part of the way the body heals itself. You will be lovingly nurtured through anything that comes up for you, and of course, you can ask for a break or to stop the session at any time.

KSR Therapies offer 1-hour and 90-minute sessions.

It is recommended to book a 90-minute appointment for your first session. This allows time to get to know each other better and receive the most benefit.

It’s best to wear loose comfortable clothing e.g., casual, stretchy loungewear.

All biodynamic craniosacral and lymph mojo sessions are done with clothes on.

Feel free to bring your own water bottle.

A lot of clients experience an immediate lightness and vitality in their energy after a session. Though depending on what you are healing and what comes up for you, you may feel emotional, tired, a bit off, or even the opposite, feeling high on life.

All of these are normal reactions. It is a great time to care for yourself, sit through whatever comes up, and realise it’s all part of the journey of reclaiming your health.

This comes down to personal choice, budget, health concerns, and commitment to healing. However, most clients feel a life-changing difference in their health after the first 3-4 sessions.

The optimal treatment period is 10 sessions spread out over a bespoke timeframe.

After the initial healing period, you may benefit from maintenance sessions a couple of times a year, or if injury or illness arise again.
